Jayden Amey drove in four runs to lead Brush past Cleveland Central Catholic 14-0 on Monday afternoon. In the third inning, Amey doubled, scoring two runs.
The Arcs scored eight runs in the first inning on the way to victory.Â
Dominick Taylor singled, scoring one run,
Geofferson Betts singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs,
Jelani Carr drew a walk, scoring one run, Brandyn Love induced
Keith Feagin, Jr. to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and
Kyle Farrell drew a walk, scoring one run.
Brush extended its early lead with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Carr and Feagin, Jr., before adding three more runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI doubles by
Braylon Davis and Amey.
Davis earned the win for Brush, as the reliever surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out nine and walking one. Love took the loss for Cleveland Central Catholic.Â
