Brush got out to a 5-run lead in the second inning and held on for a 6-4 victory over the Revere Minutemen on Saturday in the opening round of the playoffs.
Kyle Farrell collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Farrell singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.
The Arcs opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to four singles, getting on the board when
Keith Feagin, Jr. singled, scoring one run.
Owen Thompson earned the win for Brush after tossing a complete game allowing four runs over seven innings, striking out 11. AJ Hall took the loss for Revere.
Geofferson Betts provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Brush with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-4 on the day.
