The Brush Arcs picked up their first win of the season Thursday night, defeating Akron Ellet, 3-2 aKorb Field.

Brush entered the match with just four goals scored all season, but Prajit Tamang quickly changed that, finding the back of the net at the 15:43 mark to give the Arcs a 1-0 lead. Ellet answered with a first-half goal, sending the teams into halftime tied at 1-1.

Senior Nathan Underwood took over in the second half, using his speed to break away from the Orange defense and score twice, giving Brush a 3-1 advantage. Ellet added a late goal, but the Arcs held on for the 3-2 victory.

Brush improves to 1-7 on the season, while Ellet falls to 0-7-2.

The Arcs will enjoy Homecoming weekend before returning to action Tuesday when they travel to Shaw.
