The Brush Arcs boys made one goal stand up Thursday evening, earning a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the host Euclid Panthers.
After a scoreless opening half, Brush broke through in the second half when Owen Boateng found the back of the net for the game's decisive goal.
Maurice Strozier was credited with the assist on the game-winner.
From there, the Arcs defense and goalkeeper
Marsellus Kappenhagen took care of the rest.
Kappenhagen turned aside two shots and recorded the shutout as Brush held Euclid off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
It was a complete defensive effort from the Arcs, who secured the 1-0 road victory and will now begin a stretch of four matches that will close out the regular season.
Brush opens a three-match homestand Monday night, welcoming Bard Early College, before hosting Willoughby South and Garrett Morgan. The Arcs will then hit the road for a final regular season matchup with Crestwood.
With the OHSAA postseason approaching, each remaining match carries added importance as teams across the state position themselves for tournament play.
