The Brush track and field teams competed at the Shaker Heights Richard Invitational on Saturday, with the girls team placing third overall with 58.5 points and the boys team finishing fifth with 40.5 points. Shaker Heights claimed the girls team title, while Glenville captured the boys championship.
For Brush, several athletes delivered standout performances:

Destiny Johnson placed third in the 100-meter hurdles (16.77) and added a fourth-place finish in the high jump (4-06).

Josiah Anthory earned fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.14 seconds.

Marshon Jolly took fourth in a competitive 400-meter dash, crossing the line in 51.58 seconds.

Hailey Flowers finished third in the 800-meter run with a strong time of 2:30.99.

Ethan Enoch placed fourth in the discus, throwing 126-05.

In the pole vault, Jacob Perry and Phillip Alexander secured third and fourth place, clearing heights of 10-00 and 9-06 respectively.

Brielle Ray led the way with a victory in the shot put, throwing 38-08.75.
Relay teams also performed well: both the boys and girls 4x400-meter relay squads finished third, as did the girls sprint medley and distance medley teams.
