Brush wrestling's Josiah Sims and girls' basketball player Chaniyra McDowell-Isaacs have been named the Arc Athletes of the Week for the week of February 3.

Sims once again finished the week undefeated after dominating the Shaker Heights Dual Tournament where he helped the Arcs place third overall.  He has also gone undefeated in Duals against Mayfield and Stow and won both the Ron Madow and Riverside Invitational tournaments.  His season record now stands at 27-5.

Chaniyra McDowell-Isaacs has helped lead the Lady Arcs basketball team to an impressive 18-2 mark heading into the final week of the regular season.  In two games last week she averaged 20 points and six assists as Brush picked up road victories at Laurel and at Warrensville Heights.  Against the Tigers she exploded for 12 of her game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter as Brush opened the period on an 18-0 run.
