The Brush Arcs boys soccer team capped off their regular season in style Thursday night, defeating Crestwood 3-0 on Senior Night.
Senior
Yukesh Rai got the celebration started early, finding the back of the net just five minutes into the match to give Brush a 1-0 lead. Rai struck again with 4:24 remaining in the first half, doubling the advantage before the break.
In a special moment late in the game, senior goalkeeper
Ean Freeman moved up to play forward and made the most of his opportunity, scoring with 8:59 left to seal the 3-0 victory and the shutout win.
With the win, Brush closes the regular season at 4-6-6. The Arcs now turn their attention to postseason play, opening the OHSAA sectional tournament Monday at Lakeside.
