The Brush Lady Arcs continued their impressive season with a dominant 6-1 victory over Shaw, improving to 8-2-2 on the year. Six different players found the back of the net in a well-rounded offensive performance.
Kiara Yearian opened the scoring for Brush just 4:06 into the match, capitalizing on a rebound from a missed shot to put her team up 1-0. Less than a minute later, senior Gabby Miller added her first goal of the season, giving Brush an early 2-0 lead.
Shaw responded midway through the first half when Jay Nyiramahirwe's corner kick slipped through the hands of Brush goalkeeper Mackenzi Griffin, cutting the lead to 2-1. However, the Lady Arcs quickly regained control. Brianna Reed and Lorah Farren each scored on free kicks, while Emmie Farren added another goal to send Brush into halftime with a commanding 5-1 lead.
In the second half, sophomore Shreejana Ghaley capped off the scoring, netting her first career goal to secure the final 6-1 margin.
