Jamar Ross

Jamar Ross is entering his 25th year in athletics administration and his fourth as the Athletic Director at Brush High School. 

Ross comes to Brush after spending four years as the Associate Athletics Director for Business Affairs at Cleveland State University.  While at CSU, Ross managed the Vikings $13 million operating budget, oversaw the facilities/operations and equipment staffs, and also served as the sport administrator for a wrestling and fencing.  

Prior to his time at CSU, Ross was the Assistant Athletics Director for Finance & Administration for five years at Rutgers University where he oversaw operational budgets and worked closely with the Big Ten and NCAA on various reports. He also worked closely with the RU Foundation to finance special projects and had financial oversight for select capital projects and renovations.

From 2009-12, Ross was the Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations at Norfolk State where he monitored and managed the department's annual operating budget.

Ross began his career in college athletics as the Sports Information Director at Hampton from 2002-07 and served as the Associate Director of Sports Information at Old Dominion from 2007-09.

Ross earned a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management from Winston-Salem State University in 1999 and a Master's of Science in Sports Management in 2008 from Old Dominion. He also completed the NCAA Leadership Institute for Ethnic Minority in 2008.
