On an absolutely perfect evening, with the sun setting over the water, the Arcs met the Vikings of Villa Angela- St. Joseph on the south shores of Lake Erie.  The Arcs overcame a sluggish start and won 8-0.  The scoring started with a beautiful pass from the corner from Liz Cifuentes to Salena Betts who deposited the ball into the back of the net.

The Arcs struggled to find a goal for the next 12 minutes until the 26th minute when Emmie Farren rebounded a missed shot off the cross bar for her first goal of the night.  

That opened the flood gates as the Arcs scored four additional goals to make it 6-0 at the half.  Salena Betts added two of those goals for her fourth hat trick and Brianna Reed had an assist and goal.  Autumn Silverman finished the scoring for the Arcs in the first half when she cashed a nifty pass from Brianna Reed.

Nyla Ross and Emmie Farren tallied goals in the 2nd half.  Mackenzie Griffin preserved the shutout with a great save at the end of the game.

The Arcs move to 4-2 on the season and face Akron Ellet on Thursday night at Korb Field.
