The Brush Lady Arcs continued their winning ways Thursday night, cruising to a 9-1 victory over Akron North to extend their winning streak to three games. After dropping their season opener, Brush has responded with three consecutive victories to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Sophomore Nyla Ross set the tone early, scoring twice in the opening five minutes. Ross went on to complete a first-half hat trick, while Salena Betts added two goals of her own as the Lady Arcs built a commanding lead.

With 14:27 remaining in the first half, Raia Ross converted a penalty kick to make it 6-1. The opportunity came after Autumn Silverman made a run toward goal and was fouled inside the box.

Brush continued to control the match in the second half, with Betts, Nyla Ross and Brianna Reed each adding a goal to complete the 9-1 victory.

The performance marked the second time this season that Betts and Nyla Ross have recorded hat tricks in the same game, providing another impressive offensive showing for the Lady Arcs.

Brush, now 3-1, returns to the pitch Wednesday when the Lady Arcs take on Independence, which enters the matchup with a 1-2-1 record.
