Brush baseball fell to AOA 6-4 on Monday at Andrews Osborne Academy.

The Arcs jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Deshawn Dammons doubled, scoring two runs, and Alnico Murray singled, scoring one run.

AOA made the score 4-3 in the bottom of the first after an error scored one run, Heineman drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

Geofferson Betts grounded out, which helped Brush tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.

AOA took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Fiebig doubled, scoring two runs, to give AOA the edge, 6-4.

Loomis earned the win for AOA. The reliever gave up three hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking four. Braylon Davis took the loss for the Arcs. The hurler went three innings, surrendering four runs (two earned) on one hit, striking out three and walking six.

Dammons provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Arcs with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Isaac Sypniewski stole three bases. Brush stole four bases in the game and turned one double play.

Fiebig drove the middle of the lineup, leading AOA with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Leadoff hitter Ihnat led AOA with two hits in three at bats. AOA had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Fiebig and Heineman led the team with two walks each. Ihnat stole two bases. AOA turned one double play in the game.
