Brush boys tennis picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, edging Chardon 3-2 in a competitive matchup.
The Arcs were powered by strong performances in singles play, led by Jabriel Murray at #1. Murray controlled the match from the start, earning a decisive 6-2, 6-1 victory over Chardon's Vojita Skunn. At #2 singles, Madan Rai followed with another key win, battling to a 6-3, 6-4 decision over Drew Mack to give Brush a crucial second point.
The match was ultimately clinched in doubles, where the family duo of Ashley and Ashten Amer delivered under pressure. The pair secured the deciding point with a solid 6-4, 6-4 win at #1 doubles, sealing the 3-2 team victory.
