In what turned out to be an exciting night of boys soccer at Korb Field, Brush and Cornerstone Christian played to a 1-1 draw. The Arcs record now sits at 2-4-4.
Brush opened the scoring with 4:50 remaining in first half thanks to sophomore
Prajit Tamang. Following his free kick ricocheting off a Patriot defender, Tamang tracked the loose ball and blasted in his second goal of the season for the 1-0 Brush lead.
The Patriots responded just before the half as Lorenzo Curry, II floated one over Arc goalie
Ean Freeman's head with only 43 seconds left on the clock.
The second half was a back and forth battle as both teams made several runs on goal, but could not break through for a score. Cornerstone Christian had an opportunity to win the game on a corner kick with under 10 seconds to play but the header was saved by Freeman.
