The Brush Arcs volleyball team turned in a strong all-around performance on Tuesday night, sweeping the visiting John Hay Hornets in three sets (25–20, 25–16, 25–18) at Welser Gym.

Brush's steady serving and balanced attack proved to be the difference, as the Arcs collected 21 service aces and spread their offense across multiple contributors. Despite some early miscues, Brush kept the Hornets under pressure with an 82% serving rate and a strong effort in serve receive.

Freshman Prajita Tamang was a spark for the Arcs, with a team-best eight services aces to go along with six digs. Shilah Sample chipped in with six kills and six aces, while Destiny Johnson added four kills and three aces 17 assists.

On the defensive side, Brush out-dug John Hay 26–18 and kept rallies alive with key hustle plays, highlighted by Violet Wiegand and Guiliana Scigliano, who combined for seven digs and steady serve receive ratings.

With their second consecutive sweep, the Lady Arcs improve their record to 5-4 on the season, as they prepare for a three-match road-swing that features trips to Richmond Heights (tomorrow), Lorain on Saturday, and Valley Forge on Monday.
