In their first action of the 2025 season, the Brush Lady Arcs soccer team overcame a slow start, eventually defeating Shaw 3-0. The win was the first for Brush head coach Jesse Blasier who took over the program this season, replacing Tim Foerg.
Freshman
Nyla Ross recorded the first goal of the season, scoring unassisted with 12:03 remaining in the first half. Brush would maintain that lead heading into halftime.
The Lady Arcs offense found its rhythm after the break, outscoring the Cardinals 3-0. Sophomore
Brianna Reed scored early on, followed by a
Raia Ross goal less than five minutes later. Reed then blasted one in from 20 yards out to provide the final 4-0 margin.
Mackenzie Griffin recorded the shutout in goal for the Lady Arcs.
