The Brush girls wrestling team delivered a strong performance at the Brunswick Girls Wrestling Tournament, securing a fourth-place finish with 79 points.
Leading the way for the Lady Arcs were Olivia Fox and Amari Johnson, who both claimed individual championships. Fox captured the 145-pound title with a hard-fought 7-1 decision over Abby Evans of Avon Lake. Johnson dominated her way to the 170-pound crown, winning by tech fall over Deionna Borders of Berea in the finals. With the victory, the freshman Johnson improved her season record to an impressive 39-4.
Adding to Brush's success, Brooklyn Baskin and Le'Naysia Dickson each earned third-place finishes in their respective weight classes, helping to boost the team's overall point total.
