Arcs Secure Dominant 64-51 Victory Over Cleveland Heights at Chet Mason Invitational

The Brush Arcs turned in an impressive performance on both ends of the court, defeating Cleveland Heights 64-51 at the Chet Mason Invitational. A stifling defensive effort in the first half set the tone for the game, as the Arcs held the Tigers to just 17 points, heading into halftime with a commanding 37-17 lead.

Damari Dammons led the charge for Brush, scoring 16 of his game-high 19 points in the opening half. Dammons was efficient throughout, shooting 7-of-12 from the field and knocking down 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the arc. Khalil Dudley added 18 points, showcasing his ability to knock down key shots. Prince Ryleigh-Johnson provided a spark off the bench, contributing 10 points, including a highlight-reel baseline dunk that brought the crowd to its feet.

The win marked Brush's third victory in their last four games, improving their season record to 9-5.

Prior to the game, Brush honored former standout John Hugley IV, who now plays for Xavier University. Hugley, a Brush basketball legend, was celebrated for his remarkable high school career, which included finishing as the school's all-time leading rebounder and second-leading scorer.
