Brush senior Jonathan Sims captured the 190lb championship at the Hoover Holiday Invitational, after defeating the top seed and reigning West Virginia state champion, Cooper Durst 9-7 with a late takedown. With the victory, Sims improved to 15-0 this season with three tournament titles and two Most Outstanding Wrestler Awards. 

Freshman Josiah Sims placed seventh at 126lb as the only other placer for the Arcs.
