The Brush boys soccer team picked up some postseason accolades recently as five Arcs were named to the All-Greater Cleveland Team as selected by area coaches.
 
Seniors Noah Boyd and Stephen Forges have earned First Team recognition, showcasing their remarkable skills and leadership on the field. Forges led the Arcs this season with an impressive 21 goals and 11 assists, demonstrating his ability to both score and create opportunities for his teammates. Boyd followed closely, finishing the season with 18 goals and 10 assists, many of which resulted in a Forges goal.  The Arc duo proved to be a formidable force for opponents this season.

"The program was proud of the accomplishments of Stephen and Noah by being recognized as first team players," said Brush head coach Mike DiMatteo. "They scored 11 game winning goals between them of the 12 games we won. The area coaches recognize their one-two offensive punch helped us have the most successful season in 15 years."

In addition to the first team honors, fellow seniors Dominick Taylor and Roberto Washington, along with freshman Prajit Tamang, have received Honorable Mention accolades. Their contributions have been invaluable in helping the team secure a 12-5-2 record, including a successful first-round playoff victory.

"Also, Dominick in goal and Roberto as our main defender led us to nine shutouts on the season, which hasn't happened in about 15 years as well," added DiMatteo. "Prajit helped the team both offensively and defensively being our box-to-box midfielder, doing much of the dirty work for our success. It was the most players we had All-Cleveland since the 2017 team, which was ranked in the top 10 in Cleveland that year."

The Brush Arcs' strong season and individual accolades are a testament to the team's hard work and resilience. As they look to build on this success, the players are excited about what the future holds for the program.
