Student-Athlete/Family Guidelines and Expectations to Follow
Before Workout/Practice Screening:
-Must stay home if you are sick or do not feel well.
-must do a self-symptom check before going to the training session or practice. Anyone experiencing symptoms must stay home. Symptoms include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, headache, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, fever of over 100.4 F, chills, muscle or body aches, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.
Arrival to Workouts/Practices:
-must report to workouts/practices in proper gear and immediately return home to shower at the end of the workout. There will be minimal Locker Rooms usage at this time.
-must wear their own appropriate workout clothing, and individual clothing/towels should be washed and cleaned after every workout.
-are strongly recommended to travel to the venue alone or with a member(s) of their immediate household, if possible.
-should arrive no more than 10 minutes early
-No congregation should occur
–are required to wear a mask when arriving, entering and exiting a facility, and during practice when not directly involved in the activity.
-upon arrival to practice or games, athletes will be screened for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 prior to a workout, this includes a temperature check
– Athletes will be sent home if they have over a 100.4 F temperature or exhibit any of the other signs/symptoms of Covid-19 pursuant to the health screening
–Must follow Social distancing rules at all times and wear a mask-when not participating in drills/activities
-MUST bring their own water bottle-NO SHARING. If an athlete doesn’t bring a water bottle then they are not permitted to participate in the workout/practice.
-Must follow the No-touch rule. All individuals must avoid physical contact with others including high fives, huddles, or other close contact occurring before, during, and after skills sessions/practices unless the contact is for the purpose of safety. This includes the equipment of others.
-Practice good personal hygiene including washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizer when handwashing is not possible, refraining from touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands, coughing and sneezing into an elbow, etc. No Spitting.
-No spectators are permitted.
Departure from Workouts/Practices:
-No congregation/groups of kids should occur
-Travel home alone or with family
-Do your best to keep social distanced while away from practice
Athletes who do not follow the guidelines will be sent home or asked not to return until they are in compliance
