Boys soccer coach Michael DiMatteo is starting his 13th year as Varsity Coach this fall and his 29th year of Teaching Mathematics at Brush High School. He was the Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Brush 7 years before, as well as the Boys Assistant Coach at Brush High School for the 9 years leading up to the Girls Head Job. Over the course of his coaching career, Coach DiMatteo has won over 120 games as a Varsity Coach, along with 1 Conference Championship and Coach of the Year Honors back in 2013. As an assistant coach, he was part of 2 Regional Final appearances, in which Brush was ranked in the top 8 of the State. Also, over the course of those 9 years, Brush won 8 Conference Championships, 4 District Titles and 5 District Final Appearances. Coach DiMatteo is also a Brush Soccer Alumni, graduating in 1992, with his 1991 team leading a string of winning records for 20 straight years.
