Ashley Williams is a dual licensed medical professional. She graduated from Wilmington College (Ohio) In 2014 with a dual Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training and Sport Management with a concentration in Wellness. She graduated from Henderson State University (Arkansas) with a Master’s of Science in Sport Administration in 2016. In 2020 Ashley completed a certification program at Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and became a Licensed Massage Therapist.
This is Ashley’s 11th year as a Certified Athletic Trainer, fifth year as part of the Sports Medicine Department at University Hospitals and third year working at Brush High School. “I look forward to working with student- athletes and their families as well as Arcs coaching staff and administration to keep everyone healthy and safe.”
Some of the services provided include:
Injury evaluation and assessment
At home injury rehab programs
Treatment and Prevention of Injuries using manual therapy, taping etc.
Referral to appropriate medical professionals
Help scheduling appointments with UH sports medicine and orthopedic doctors
Education on issues related to sports and performance (injuries, hydration and nutrition, rest and recovery etc.)
