Jasmaine Rucker

Coach Jasmaine Rucker is entering her third year as the Head Cheerleading Coach for Brush High School. She was a 3-year varsity cheerleader and 2-year varsity captain at Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio 1998-2001 and cheered at the collegiate level at Cleveland State University from 2001-2003.

Her coaching career began in 2009 where she was the Cheer Coordinator for the Arcs Youth Football/Cheer program for 5 years. Under her leadership, the team attended 4 cheerleading competitions and hold two 3rd place, one 2nd place, and one 1st place trophy.

Prior to being the head coach at Brush, she was an assistant coach at Brush for 2 years and the head coach at Memorial Junior High for 4 years.
Our cheer teams have participated in multiple events throughout the years such as the South Euclid’s Labor Day Parade, Lyndhurst Home Days, Fox 8 News Turkey Bowl, and SEL Appreciation Day. We also serve our community by volunteering at events such as the Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Chet Mason Invitational, Cleveland Food Bank, Cleveland Book Bank, Cleveland 19 News Back to School Drive, Operation Backpack and the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon.  

Coach Rucker holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. She resides in South Euclid and is the proud mother of three Brush students, Azylah (c/o 2022), Reggie III and Bryce.
