Brianna Reed and Rex Zaucha have been named the Arc Athletes of the Week for the week of September 1.

A sophomore forward on the girls soccer team, Reed finished last week with five total goals, helping the Lady Arcs go 2-0.  She began the week with a hat trick in a 4-0 victory over Canton McKinley, and followed that up with another two goals versus Akron North to bring her team-high total to eight goals on the year.

Fellow sophomore Rex Zaucha has been much improved in his second year with the Brush golf program.  It all came together last week as he shot a career-best round of 49 in the Arcs match versus Benedictine.  He'll be looking to mirror that effort this afternoon when Brush takes on Painesville Harvey at Airport Greens.
